What are we doing?
Transforming surplus food into meals that nourish body and soul.
We run a weekly community meal at St Paul’s Masbrough particularly for local families. Mondays 5pm.
Creating a wealth of opportunities to share everything from Art to Zumba, by forming Groups, Classes, Events and Skills Exchanges.

CookHouse Community Meal
at St Paul’s Masbrough 139 Kimberworth Rd, S61 1AH.
A Community meal held every Monday particularly for local families
Volunteers begin at 3.30 and guests arrive at 5. We need a couple more experienced cooks as well as some help with kids activities. Chat to Christine.
Tuesdays
11am—11.45 Tuesday Singers. A fun choir for anyone who likes to sing. At the Minster.
12.30 Knitting and Crochet. Join the latest project and knit a Yorkshire Rose. Earn TimeCredits. At the Minster.
12.30 Drawing group. Still life drawing with local artist, Malcolm. At the Minster.
12.30 Board games group . An informal group where it’s not all about winning! Turn up and join in. At the Minster.
Wednesdays
Pilates. 10.30-11.30am in the All Saint’s Centre across the church yard. Improve balance and strength. Suitable for all levels including a chair option. Cost 1 TimeCredit or £4.50. Booking recommended. At the Minster.
Thursdays
10am Walking group. Leaves from Minster and goes for an easy walk for an hour in the surrounding area. In partnership with #walkrotherham.
Litter picking group in the Clifton Park area. Starts March 5th. 10.30 at the park offices or 10am at the Minster.
10.30 Photography group in the minster or out and about in local beauty spots. Ask for more details.
Sundays
Messy Church
Church for all ages including craft, stories and food.
At St Paul’s and 4th Sunday of each month, 3.30-5.30pm.
Coaching
Could you use help with thinking through your goals or how to make some changes in your life?
TimeBuilders offers coaching sessions where we can help you think these things through in a relaxed and safe space. Have a chat if you’re interested.

Focus on Ferham…
Did you know we are arranging TimeBuilders projects in the Ferham and Masbrough area? We currently run the CookHouse meal each Monday — crafts and a meal for local families. What’s the next step? English conversation group? Ferham in Bloom competition? A craft group? Come and find out more...
Ferham Open Day

Come and chat to people from local community groups and organisations about what you want to do.
Do you have green fingers?
Can you share some basic growing skills with others?
We are hoping to have an ‘In Bloom’ project running this year and need lots of help!!
Whether you like planning and organising or getting your hands dirty with compost and plants we need you! Come to the Ferham Open day or get in touch with Christine.

Do you want to get fitter or be more healthy. Did you know TimeCredits can help? Talk to Christine about swapping your TimeCredits for gym, pool, spinning or family inflatable sessions.
Winthrop Gardens
Swap your TimeCredits for vouchers for discounted teas, cakes and light bites at the Winthrop gardens tea rooms.
Have a swim on us!
Use TimeCredits to swim at Rotherham Leisure Centre. 2 TimeCredits for a single or 4 TimeCredits for a family. Pay TimeCredits to Christine and collect a voucher.
TimeBuilders are going to
the Ice Hockey
See Sheffield Steelers play at Sheffield Arena on Saturday 23rd November 8pm start. Tickets are £10 plus one TimeCredit. Children free. Contact Lillian or Christine to book.
Cinema
Have you spotted Rotherham Underground cinema? It’s just opposite Wilkinson’s and is a small, independent theatre and cinema. We have had the offer of using our TimeCredits for films. If we have a film we would like to see we can even ask them to put it on! Any ideas? We want to go together in the Autumn, so more details to follow.

Our groups are based in Rotherham minster.
Drawing, knitting and games groups run every Tuesday between 12.30 and 2.30.
Photography and creative writing groups are coming soon.

Get Involved
We make it easy to use your skills, knowledge, passions and time to make a difference to the lives of others.
Help at a project:
For those who want to make a tentative start to volunteering, they can do an hour at a time and build their confidence.
It could be something simple like joining our litter-picking group or a gardening session, cooking meals as a team or helping tidy up after an event. We encourage everyone to get involved something even if they are not sure, because it always feels good to do work that needs to be done.

Organise a group:
Groups are great for people to share whatever they are passionate about. Organising a group doesn't mean you're the expert or teacher, but you like to bring people together. If you have an idea for a new group, contact us. Examples of groups are Knitting, Photography, Art for Wellbeing, Creative Writing, Music, Card Making ect.
Run a Class:
Classes have a structured programme of learning and a teacher with a particular skill or knowledge. It could be a one-off workshop or a regular series. If you have an idea for a Class, please ask contact us. Examples of Classes are Zumba, Watercolour, Guitar, Spanish ect.

For those who want a challenge and to take some responsibility, we need people who are prepared to organise and coordinate events and activities.
