We run a café open on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday’s between 9 am and 2 pm.

Our members help in the café, preparing food and drinks, serving customers, tidying and washing up.

We have a baking group which meets each Monday morning to bake cakes for sale in the café.

We have a small gardening group which we are hoping to expand in the future.

Get Involved

We make it easy to use your skills, knowledge, passions and time to make a difference to the lives of others.

Help at a project:

For those who want to make a tentative start to volunteering, they can do an hour at a time and build their confidence.

It could be something simple like joining our litter-picking group or a gardening session, cooking meals as a team or helping tidy up after an event. We encourage everyone to get involved something even if they are not sure, because it always feels good to do work that needs to be done.

Organise a group:

Groups are great for people to share whatever they are passionate about. Organising a group doesn't mean you're the expert or teacher, but you like to bring people together. If you have an idea for a new group, contact us. Examples of groups are Knitting, Photography, Art for Wellbeing, Creative Writing, Music, Card Making ect.

Run a Class:

Classes have a structured programme of learning and a teacher with a particular skill or knowledge. It could be a one-off workshop or a regular series. If you have an idea for a Class, please ask contact us. Examples of Classes are Zumba, Watercolour, Guitar, Spanish ect.
